Suggestions for Synoptic Programme
- Full Spectral Download:carried out on an active region and quiet Sun. To monitor changes in the detectors.
- Weekly E-W scans: this could be carried out with XRT and SOT/FPP. If we use spacecraft pointing for this, we will obtain coronal images with XRT well beyond the limb, and magnetic field date across the equator, as well as velocity field seen by EIS.
- Weekly N-S scans:in the same mode as CDS.
We should probably choose only one direction for the scans either E-W or N-S.
